We have classes, small groups, community-building events, and more online practically every day of the week. Our fellowship is a community of spiritual seekers and learners on Sunday mornings and beyond. Check out our This Week and Calendar pages and sign up for our weekly email listing information about our Worship Life, weekly events, and other happenings in our congregation.
We believe in the power of lifelong learning.
One of our core theological beliefs as Unitarian Universalists is a commitment to personal spiritual growth, or as Unitarian Universalist Theologian James Luther Adams put it, “revelation is continuous.” Our religious beliefs are always evolving based on our experiences and introduction to new ideas, and we at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship are committed to helping you identify, explore, and deepen your spiritual beliefs, no matter your age or stage of life. We have an active and thriving Faith Formation program for adults, centered on our five core themes:
- Explore Unitarian Universalist Identity, world religions, and theology (including your own.)
- Engage in activism to promote economic, social, and environmental justice and peace.
- Create with art, mind, and body.
- Connect through social groups, community building, and fun.
- Grow in dealing with live issues, personal development, and spiritual practices.
We schedule a variety of programming each year. Depending on interest, offerings range from single lessons or events to year-long courses, social events, theological offerings, daytime through evening events, and more. Classes and programs are regularly offered by staff, members, and friends of the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
Events and Classes
We offer a variety of single-session classes and multi-session courses throughout the program year. Our goal is to have a variety of classes and courses to appeal to a wide variety of interests. These offerings are a great way to learn more about yourself, learn more about an interesting topic, and build community with others.
