PAST EVENTS
On May 5th twenty UUs from around the state attended UUFANJ’s advocacy training in Trenton. It was so successful that another training session is under consideration.
UUFANJ was at Delaney Hall last weekend. We have been and will continue to be active members of the coalition standing up for immigrant rights.
FUTURE EVENTS
This Friday, May 16th is FIRST FRIDAY ACTION HOUR. As usual, the easiest effective way to take a stand. The specific actions for the week drop after noon. Go to bit.ly1st-Fridays
Registration is open for the UUFANJ Annual Meeting on May 31st, 10:30 AM to 3 PM. The meeting is hybrid and there is no charge to register. Our Task Forces will be presenting an informative program from 1 PM -3 PM about their issue priorities for the upcoming year. Recommended. Attendance is not required at both sessions.
CALLING ALL ALLIES AND WOULD BE ALLIES! On Tuesday, May 27th at 7 PM, UUFANJ will be holding a special program “Responding to the Anti-Trans Movement”. For more information and to register go to the “Members Only” section of REALM.
TASK FORCES – Anyone who may have been inspired by recent events to get more involved with social justice work, is welcome to monitor or join a task force.
