The Adult Program Committee, along with the Welcoming Team are planning a six part class and discussion group for all Fellowship leaders and interested people to discuss best practices and current thinking about welcoming folks to our community.
The course is designed by the UUA and it’s stated goal is, “Instead of focusing on growth for its own sake, we focus on the transformative power that Unitarian Universalism has in people’s lives and how our congregations can be provide a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone who comes through our doors.”
It is important that we all create a welcoming environment for new people, so we think it is important for us to include folks from across the Fellowship’s community.
Learn how to actively contribute to the growth and vitality of our Unitarian Universalist community. This class will equip you with the knowledge and skills to welcome new members, nurture existing relationships, and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Discover the importance of congregational stewardship and the ways in which you can make a positive impact on your community.
The class will be facilitated by Nick Wallwork
