We’re excited to share our Faith Formation (RE) plans for this summer, with opportunities for children, youth, and adults to connect, grow, and build community together.
Summer Sunday Morning Faith Formation Program (PreK–5th Grade)
From June 15th through August 10th (no class on July 6th), we’ll offer a weekly Sunday morning program during the 10:00–11:00 a.m. service for children in PreK through 5th Grade.
Each week will include stories, creative projects, and spiritual exploration, designed to engage multiple ages and encourage curiosity, kindness, and community. Classes will be multi-age, with the option to split into smaller groups depending on attendance.
We’re also inviting Middle Schoolers to sign up as helpers—a wonderful opportunity for leadership, mentoring, and building connections across ages.
Middle School Summer Book Club (Rising 6th–8th Graders)
New this summer, we’re launching a Middle School Book Club for rising 6th graders through current 8th graders! The group will meet monthly, and participants will help choose a book to read and discuss each time. This is a fun, low-pressure way for youth to stay connected over the summer while exploring meaningful stories and themes together.
We’ll kick things off with an interest meeting tomorrow, May 29th, from 7:00–8:00 p.m. All interested youth and families are welcome!
Volunteers Needed – Especially Veteran Teachers!
We’re looking for adult volunteers to support both of these programs—and we would especially love to welcome back some of our veteran RE teachers who may not have taught in a while. Your presence, experience, and perspective are incredibly valuable, and we believe it’s important for our children and youth to get to know a wide variety of adults in our congregation.
Even helping once or twice over the summer can make a big difference and deepen intergenerational connections within our community.
Let’s make this summer a time of shared growth, joy, and connection!
If you’d like to register your child or middle schooler, sign up as a volunteer, or learn more, please contact Nick.
