JOIN US FOR THE 35th ANNUAL SOUPER BOWL OF CARING! This Sunday, (February 16th) the Fellowship will once again participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring by collecting food and funds for the Interfaith Food Pantry Network (IFPN). By collecting food donations, we can make a powerful impact in the fight against hunger. Together, we can make a difference!
There will be collection bins in both the Great Hall and Chu Hall through Sunday (February 16th) for your donations. Please read below for recommendations on what to donate. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

During the past year the Interfaith Food Pantry Network (IFPN) has been there for our neighbors in need. They continue to provide healthy food including fresh produce, dairy and meat on a regular basis and expanded our Healthy Choices Mobile Pantry to thirty-seven county partners. New client families are seeking out our services each month at some of the highest numbers we have seen. In 2024, they exceeded our food budget once again for purchased food due to significant increases in new clients and high food costs.
The need for food remains high and we need your help now!

Souper Bowl of Caring, is a national, youth-led program designed to transform the Super Bowl into the nation’s largest time of giving and serving. Participating is simple. During the time leading up to the Super Bowl (Sunday February 9, 2025), we are taking up a collection asking for $1 or one item of food, for people in need. 100% of the collections are donated directly to the Interfaith Food Pantry Network. Souper Bowl of Caring headquarters only asks that you share your results with them. Last year the overall program collected $4,534,380! You can help the IFPN and Souper Bowl of Caring beat 2024 statistics!
Here the things we are looking for:

🏈 FRUITS & VEGETABLES – Score a Touchdown for Nutrition!
- 🍎 Look for fruit canned in its own juice or with “no sugar added.”
- 🥦 Look for vegetables with low sodium or “no salt added.”
- 🥫 Canned Fruit
- 🥤 100% Juice (32 oz.)
- 🥫 Canned Vegetables
- 🍅 Spaghetti / Tomato Sauce, Tomato Products (crushed, whole, diced, paste, puree)
- 🥕 Fresh Produce from our garden (uncooked)
🏈 GRAINS – Fuel the Team with Whole Grains!
- 🍞 Donate whole grains as often as you can:
- 🥣 Cereal (low sugar, high fiber)
- 🌾 Oatmeal
- 🍝 Pasta / Whole Wheat Pasta
- 🍚 Rice (Brown Rice, 1 or 2 lb. sizes)
🏈 DAIRY – Strong Bones, Strong Players!
- 🥛 Donate shelf-stable low-fat (1%) or non-fat dairy products:
- 🧃 Parmalat (shelf stable, 32 oz. size)
- 🥄 Dry Milk (1-qt. package)
- 🥫 Evaporated Milk
- 🥛 Calcium-fortified milk alternatives (e.g., soy, rice, or almond milk)
🏈 PROTEIN – Build Strength for the Big Game!
- 🐟 Look for “no salt added,” “low-sodium,” or “canned in water” options:
- 🥫 Canned Beans (Pork and Beans, Pinto, Red, White, not green beans)
- 🫘 Dried Beans
- 🐟 Tuna Fish, Salmon, and other canned fish
- 🥜 Peanut Butter (18 oz.)
- 🥩 Canned Meats and Meals (ravioli, spaghetti & meatballs, hash, stew, canned chicken, etc.)
