Social Justice Opportunities at MUUF and with neighboring organization

On June 17th there was a great turnout of Members and Friends for No Kings Day in Morristown.  The crowd was estimated to be over 4,000 people.  Speakers included the Democratic nominee for Govenor Mikie Sherrill, former Congressman Tom Malinowski and was closed by our own Miles Gorman.   We were also inspired by 5 –6 million people who particpated in over 2,100 cites throughout the 50 states.

Closer to home the Social Justice Council had our inaugural Summit in April which gave us all a chance to meet with our Social Justice Partners.  Our goal is to develop deeper relationship and as a congregation become even more socially active.  We will be rolling out further opportunities to get involved in the coming months.
