Beginning with the inspiration of task force member Sandra Persichetti, a 2021 reworking of the main entrance to the Thorne mansion was recognized as another improvement to enhance the beauty of the property. This project provided a new front entrance allowing members to get out of the rain on entering, replaced deteriorating front steps and supplied a new drainage system in the front of the property reducing the occasional flooding of our basement.
