Last Saturday, our Fellowship hosted the Queer Holiday Makers Market, and it was a truly heartwarming experience. The event drew in over 100 attendees, many of whom were new faces to our community. With 12 talented vendors showcasing their unique creations, the market buzzed with energy and a sense of celebration.
More than just a shopping event, the market fostered meaningful connections. We were thrilled to build lasting relationships with several LGBTQIA2S+ organizations and community members. The spirit of giving was also alive and well, as we collected items for Knit the Rainbow and shared our proceeds with Edge NJ.
The success of the market was a testament to the dedication and warm hospitality of our volunteers and vendors. Together, we created a safe and welcoming space where everyone felt celebrated and included. The positive feedback we received has inspired us to plan similar events in the spring and summer.
The Queer Holiday Makers Market was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and the importance of creating inclusive spaces. We are excited to continue fostering this spirit of belonging within our Fellowship and beyond.
