New Pre-K RE Class

We are excited to invite your preschoolers to our new Religious Education class, starting this Sunday! With many Kindergarten and 1st graders beginning their Our Whole Lives class through May, we have a wonderful opportunity to create a dedicated space for our younger learners.

Beginning this Sunday, Preschoolers will meet during our Religious Education Hour (11:30-12:30) in Room A. Led by our amazing teachers, Megan, Sara, and Alex, they will explore monthly themes, engage in age-appropriate activities, and build friendships. Parents are welcome to join and learn alongside their children.

This month’s theme is Trust. We’ll kick off by exploring the contents of a Mystery Box and how it relates to our theme. This week’s focus is on repairing trust, so our mystery item is a broken Duplo creation that can be fixed. (Shhh, it’s a surprise!) We’ll also read I’m Sorry by Sam McBratney, build with Duplo and Legos, enjoy crafts and games, and share our joys and worries. All activities will take place in one of our brand new classrooms.

If you’re interested or have questions, please reach out to Nick at [email protected] or 862-200-7577. You can also contact our teachers by emailing [email protected].

Our Soul Matters curriculum last week was about “Trusting Life,” which we explained to the little ones as “Sometimes, we need to trust life, leap into new things, and have the courage to trust that those things will work out ok!” I hope you’ll trust in this new class and “leap” in with us.
