In this line of work, its hard to know if what we are doing is working. Often we think numbers are the obvious metric, but this capitalistic of result analysis doesn’t tell the whole story. Sometimes, he have the joy of one of our kids coming back and sharing how important their Religious Education experience was to them, but that takes a while to see those affermations.
Most of the time however, it feels like we are just going off of vibes.
This past week, a parent shared with me a video they took of their four-year-old “reading” our Chalice lighting. I had to share it with you.
When we think that things aren’t working and it all feels liking we are failing at this work, we get small wins.
