Endowment Committee Sponsored Luncheon On Estate Planning, March 9th
Do you own assets?
Do you have children or grandchildren?
Do you or members of your family have special needs?
Are you getting on in years?
Is your will outdated?
If yes then this invitation is for you!
The Endowment Committee is delighted to sponsor a FREE Estate Planning Luncheon/Workshop on Sunday, March 9th. We’ve invited a local attorney, specializing in estate planning, and a financial planner to provide a basic overview. This to be followed by Q&A. The buffet lunch will start at Noon in Chu Hall. We anticipate the program wrapping up around 1:30p.
Estate plans should be specific to your needs and wishes. However, there are documents everyone should consider. For example, a Power of Attorney and a Living Will. There are also questions you might want to consider or reconsider. Some as simple as does somebody know where all your estate planning documents are, including your passwords and pin numbers? Or, are your Executors, Trustees and Guardians still the appropriate people? Do you have any specific gifts or bequests you want to make? Do you have a personal property designation? Have these lists been updated in recent years?
In order to plan for the lunch, please RSVP by February 28, 2025, with the names of those attending. Attendees are limited to members of MUUF. Only those with an RSVP will be admitted due to meal planning. Thanks for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you for this important presentation.
