At the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, our Religious Education programs are designed to nurture the whole person. We cultivate a love of learning that empowers individuals of all ages to explore their beliefs and values. Our classrooms are open forums where critical thinking is encouraged, and questions are celebrated. We have started a middle school book club for rising 6th graders through exiting 9th graders. This month was weird. We had 6 weeks between meetings and we decided to read two books. These two books are girlmode and Boy 2 Girl. The next meeting is July 24th. No need to all of both books
Build on fun with Blanket Forts! This week, we’re creating cozy spaces and imaginative hideaways. Kids will work together to construct forts using blankets, sheets, chairs, and tables. We’ll also talk about creating a community within our forts. A story and a mindfulness exercise about a personal space will add to the magic.

The Morristown UU Fellowship is jointly sponsoring with UU FaithAction NJ an online Biochemistry Literacy program for UU-associated children and their friends around NJ as a supplemental RE program. The course is slated to run in the 2025 church year on the schedule listed below. All classes meet online from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Eastern
This summer, children (PreK–5th) can join weekly Sunday morning classes (June 15–August 10, 10–11 a.m.) featuring stories, crafts, and spiritual exploration. Middle schoolers (rising 6th–8th) are invited to a monthly book club, starting with an interest meeting on May 29, 7–8 p.m. Adult volunteers, especially veteran teachers, are encouraged to participate.
