At the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, our Religious Education programs are designed to nurture the whole person. Become an architect this week! We’re using toothpicks and mini-marshmallows to build structures. Children will design towers, houses, and other creations, then find ways to combine their work into one large construction. Are you ready for a challenge? This week, we’re navigating an obstacle course! Kids will run, jump, crawl, and balance their way through various challenges. But it’s not just about speed—points will be awarded for helping and encouraging each other. We’ll also have a mindfulness exercise to warm up and prepare for the challenge.
Turn trash into treasure this week! We’re diving into junk sculpture, using recycled items and duct tape to create unique art pieces. Children will use their imagination to see everyday objects in a new light and build something wonderful. We’ll have a mindfulness exercise that focuses on the potential of a piece of trash.
Get ready to make some noise! We’ll be exploring body percussion this Sunday, using claps, stomps, and snaps to create music. We’ll watch a video of “Stomp” for inspiration and try several body percussion songs and routines. We’ll even create a thunderstorm with our bodies. And then, we’ll let loose with a dance party!

We have started a middle school book club for rising 6th graders through exiting 9th graders. This month was weird. We had 6 weeks between meetings and we decided to read two books. These two books are girlmode and Boy 2 Girl. The next meeting is July 24th. No need to read all of both
