Sunday Service 10:00 am-11:00 am
Sunday Mornings at the Fellowship are a foundation for the rest of our programs and mission. Sunday mornings are an encounter with the mystery of the universe, with humanity and with divinity. They serve to teach, to create, to inspire. It is during this time that we open ourselves to experience new and thought-provoking ideas, to search within ourselves for answers or to reflect on changes we need to make.

Adult RE This Sunday: How to Create Social Change 11:30 am-12:30 pm
The recent election has left many of us with a range of emotions – frustration, hope, anger, or even uncertainty. It's perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed in the aftermath. But through it all, our commitment to social justice and positive change remains.
That's why we're offering a special class on Sunday, November 24th from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Meeting Room. This class (replacing our regular "Tending Congregational Life" class for this week) is open to all adults and will be a space to process our feelings and chart a course for action. We'll acknowledge the emotional impact of the election and create a safe space for open and honest conversation. We'll explore the Social Change Map, a framework that empowers individuals and communities to create lasting positive change.
What is the Social Change Map?
The Social Change Map, is a tool designed to aid individuals and organizations in their social change efforts. It identifies ten key roles people often take on in social change work, such as weaver, builder, and storyteller. By understanding these roles and how they interact, individuals and organizations can work more effectively and collaboratively to advance social justice and equity. This framework can be applied to various contexts, from individual self-reflection to organizational strategy, helping to foster more sustainable and impactful social change initiatives.
Why should you join us?
- Find your voice: Express your concerns and ideas in a supportive environment.
- Discover your role: Learn how your unique skills and passions can contribute to social change.
- Connect with others: Build relationships with those who share your commitment to justice.
- Take action: Join teams at the Fellowship in developing plans for making a difference in our community.
RSVP on Realm or by emailing Nick to let us know if you plan to attend. However, your presence is welcome regardless of RSVP.
Together, we can build a more hopeful future.
