The Morris County Correctional Facility’s Chaplaincy Program is collecting specific gift items once again for the annual holiday program for the inmates at the county jail. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 430 inmates (approximately 380 men and 50 women) that could use some holiday cheer with basic essentials.
Please consider supporting this meaningful social justice initiative for the holidays, by grabbing a tag (or two) from our Annual Giving Tree in the Great Hall at the Fellowship, sponsored by our Youth Group members. The specific gift items listed on the tags are:
- Men’s briefs – white only, sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL
- Men’s T-shirts – white only, crew necks only, no V-necks or pockets, sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL
- Men’s sport socks – white only, may have gray or minimal color below shoe line, sizes Avg & L
- Women’s sports bras – no under-wires, White only, variety of sizes
- Women’s briefs – white only, variety of sizes
- Women’s sport socks – white only, may have some gray or minimal color below shoe line
- Toothpaste – medium or large tubes
- Soap – individually wrapped bars, scent free or neutral, avoid flowery scents
- Deodorant – roll-on, no pumps or sticks, scent free or neutral, avoid flowery scents
- Body Lotion – no pumps, scent free or neutral, avoid flowery scents
Please return the gifts with NO gift wrap by Saturday, Dec. 7th (or no later than 11am on Sunday, Dec. 8th) in the bin located next to our Annual Giving Tree – and thank you for your support!
