This Sunday, you may notice something a little bit… different about Rev. Sasha. No need to adjust your glasses—her hair has indeed taken on a new purple hue!
But why?
For our annual Service Auction fundraiser, Rev. Sasha offered a fun item alongside her more serious offerings: the opportunity for one lucky winner to choose her hair color. Bidders could select from a rainbow-hued list of options, and Rev. Sasha would have to keep the winning color for at least one full month.
As you might have guessed, this year’s winner, Beth Wilson, selected the color purple. What better hue to match Rev. Sasha’s new installation stole, right?
Not a fan of purple? Don’t worry: this item will be back for next year’s Service Auction, so that’ll be your opportunity to vote (via your bid) for a color you prefer.
