Join us for another Buy Nothing event. Inspired by the Buy Nothing Project, we are asking folks to bring and exchange there gently used items and contribute to a “gift economy”.
What is a Gift Economy?
It is an ancient system of giving, receiving, and sharing gifts of stuff and self in ways that build the best sort of wealth: resilient, joyful communities that are inclusive at their core.
Everything is freely-given and freely-received, in community, without any expectation of reward or compensation other than the joy of giving, receiving, sharing, and building a strong web of connections between people.
This type of economy seeks to remove some of the waste, exploitation, and environmental hard that often come from traditional capitalistic economies.

How Do I Get Involved?
Stop in the Terrace Room after the service on June 22nd and share in our gift economy. You are free to receive gifts from anyone. Or if you would like to gift your own items, please RSVP below to reserve a table.
Please note that because we hope to create conversations and community around this gift giving/receiving event, we ask that people remain with their items and take them at the end of the day.
