MUF Spring Concert: Sing unto G?D
What is it that has moved humanity through the ages to sing to the Divine? How do we humans relate to the Sacred Presence in our lives, and sometimes remake that Presence in our own often flawed image? On Saturday, May 18, at 7:00pm, the Morris Consort, MUF Combined Choirs, and Chamber Ensemble will present “Sing Unto G?d,” a program of sacred music of Giacomo Carissimi and John Rutter. From the blood thirsty and cruel God that the Biblical Jeptha imagined, to the loving and expansive God given praise in the music of John Rutter, this program will explore how we “Sing Unto G?d.” Tickets, available at the box office, are: Adults—$15 in advance, $20 at the door; Youth 18 and under—$5.
